Another ripping year at the Oceania Championships in Devonport. Jake Smith had a breakout race with three strong disciplines and recorded the 9th fastest 5km split of the day with a 16:14.

This result is the aggregate of years of planning and execution in training. Jake is now poised to step into his final year of junior racing with a running weapon that should be feared by his competitors. Congratulations Jake, an awesome outcome for you and a reflection of your self belief.

Mark Rainey also had a solid day out in his final year of junior racing. We are excited to see Mark develop into a strong U23 athlete and continue enjoying the sport.

We now move into the Australian Triathlon All Schools Championships at Runaway Bay starting on Tuesday, stay tuned for updates!
