WOW. What a weekend of racing!

We are so proud of Erin ripping in on her first Ironman and stopping the clock in an impressive 11:50. Amazing work for a young lady so new to our sport. Such a great start to her Ironman racing journey, look out Hawaii, Erin will be coming.

Speaking of Hawaii, Mel Wilson just achieved a life long goal of qualifying for the big Island. Mel and coach Darren have put together an awesome program that just keeps getting this lady better. Let’s also mention her 28min PB on Sunday. While we are on the PB’s Tynan had a ripping race and PB’d with a 10:29.

As for the 70.3, we welcomed back Tamara Joyner with a solid day out and a 4th place for the ever motivated team of the “ginger sandwich” with the come back queen Amanda Wilson and Steph stepping in to fill a place for the sick Carolyn Tonelli. Kelly Dodd was unable to finish with some health issues popping up on the bike. Kelly will reload and go again later in the year.

All in all a great weekend of racing with some solid progression and learning. Well done all who raced!
