Erin Covelli raced fearlessly on the bike, surging into 2nd place in her age group midway through the ride and showing glimpses of what could be some future podium performances. The aggressive effort took its toll during the run, with Erin eventually finishing 8th in her age group. Erin is a determined athlete who isn’t afraid to take risks and we’re excited to see what she can achieve in the years ahead. Well done Erin!

Mel Wilson also put together a strong performance, finishing 11th in her age group after a solid and consistent race from start to finish.

Cairns Ironman

In the Ironman James Patterson showed great determination, pushing through the entire day to record an impressive 12:44 finish time. Completing your first Ironman is a huge achievement and James should be incredibly proud of his effort.
