Geelong 70.3 and 2XU Race 6 Results

This was the last weekend of racing in Victoria for the season and Melbourne/Geelong turned it on for us with perfect conditions. Big shout out to Sanjeev Singh on his first Ironman 70.3, Darcy Williams on his first overall race win and Harry Gibbs on his blistering 1:19 run off the bike at Geelong.

So many great achievement from the weekends racing, we couldn’t be prouder of our athletes and coaches alike. The long-term commitment and motivation of everyone involved in our program shows on a weekend like this. We had over 40 athletes racing across two events with three overall race wins from Darcy Williams, Ty Davis and Madigan Carroll. As well as five podiums from Kelly Miller, Carolyn Tonelli, Colin Davis, Oliver Anthony and Lucas Harris.

Our elite athletes will now reload and start a 10 week loading phase into Port Douglas Oceania Olympic Distance Champs later in the year. The junior and youth athletes will stay on the march for another three weeks and race the Triple Mix at Gold Coast next weekend, then the Australian Sprint Champs at Port Adelaide in a few weeks.
