sWIM:
The Williamstown Elite Triathlon Performance swim course is a beach start at the iconic Williamston Foreshore. Located at the Eastern end, Junior competitors will run into the water and enjoy a long and fast wade run then swim directly out for approximately 175m. A sharp right hand turn will then take competitors back to the beach for a short beach run and back into the water to complete the second part of this unique M shape swim course. Once heading back toward the beach competitors will make a left turn around the breakwater and exit the swim with another wade run.
Youth athletes will also be treated to a beach start at the half way mark of the Junior course. Also gaining the benefits of a long wade run, Youth athletes will head directly out for approximately 200m then complete a sharp right hand turn and head back toward the beach making the same left hand turn around the breakwater as the Junior athletes.
After exiting the water athletes run past the historic WSLSC main hall and then hit the transition area and head out onto the multi lapped bike course.

Junior: 750m looped course M shape including beach run in middle of swim and beach start.
Youth: 350m swim - second section of the Junior swim with a beach start

Race Ambassador

“I can’t wait to toe the start line in my local race. It's exciting for me being an ambassador of this event. It’s the only junior specific draft legal race in Victoria and the organisers have put together a fast technical course.”
Oscar Dart
Australian Junior Triathlon Champion (2018-19 season)
