A few hard chargers made the trip to WA for the Ironman.
Andrew Killer lead the way with a 9:56 overall. Andrew came off an interrupted prep and still popped out a solid Ironman, well done Andrew.
Ron Ziessler and Ian “Big Boy” Scott both had hard days out. Ron swam a solid 52mins then pushed hard all day for an 11:53 race.
Big boy had some stomach issues that slowed his progress in the second half of the run, but in true big boy fashion he never gave up.

Some of our venue based athletes also had solid days out. Coach Andrew Sinclair again put together another solid outing for Kim Michell. Kim had a solid day coming in the top ten in her age group.
Travis Atkins also had a solid day with a 10 hours Ironman finish. Trav again had a solid run off the back of a solid bike leg.
Archie Ball unfortunately had a DNF due to illness.
