ETPA Ironman Korea 2011 results
July 03, 2011 at 5:45 PM
Six intrepid ETPA athletes ventured to the steamy Ironman Korea event in Jeju, many of the boys having had the unfortunate situation of missing out on Ironman China after that race was cancelled.
It was a tough day out; by all accounts this is one of the hardest Ironman races out there, due to hot and humid conditions. Many of the boys suffered severe nutrition problems in the latter stages of the race.
First ETPA athlete across the line was Dane Heaysman in a blistering 10:02, taking out 4th in his age group and a result that should see him through to Kona (We’re awaiting contact from Dane to confirm this!)
